We had a fantastic time relaxing in such a beautifully designed bed and breakfast. Our stay couldn't have been better, incredible views, fantastic location and a beautiful room.
Ed and Sara did everything to make our stay even more special and were so accommodating and we felt very welcome at all times.
Quite simply the best place we've ever stayed! Cannot recommend enough!
"An Amazing Find"

I was really struggling to get a room anywhere in the South West with 24 hours notice on a sunny Bank holiday weekend in May at the beginning of half term - one if the many full hotels recommended I tried The Greenhill House B &B and how lucky was I? This place is fantastic. I could not fault it.
Without doubt one of the best and luxurious places I have stayed (thinking Chewton Glen, The Dorchester, Cipriani in Venice and the like, so I am pretty fussy) . The attention to detail was second to none, as was the luxury with breakfast served on wafer thin fine bone china. The house is immaculate throughout being a twist of contemporary blended perfectly with the character of the house with breakfast served using the family silver. Linen like silk, plump pillows, beautiful glasses, lashings of piping hot bath water, carafe of sherry and a little stash of Quality Street for those pre and post supper munchies! Hosts Sara and Ed went more than the extra mile - in fact several as they not only dropped me down into the town in time for my reservation for dinner as I was running late, they also turned out to collect me at the end of the evening. Its a 15 minute walk into the buzzy town , bit slower homeward as its definitely up hill, but taxis available.
Breakfast menu was imaginative without being so trendy you lost the traditional feel and my Greenhill House smoothie followed by fresh berries, organic yoghurt and prunes soaked in Lady Grey was perfect balance to the field mushroom and cherry tomatoes and baked avocado. Healthy options for me but I was eyeing up the other couple's full English with locally sourced sausages and produce and had I not being going out for a lunch I would have had that or the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. I was staying in room 1 (of two) and as £140 per night its a steel and its really made me rethink about future bookings - I will no longer default straight to hotels but seek out gems like this one. Well done and thanks to Sara and Ed for such stunning home and hospitality, they are the sort of family you want to be friends with !
